I love it when everything around me is soft, warm, and smells like vanilla or fresh strawberries—comfort is like foreplay for me. Good sex should be the same: slow, luscious, with long pauses when you just want to snuggle and feel your skin tremble. And then—delicious food right in bed: dark chocolate that melts on your lips, or ripe cherries you can share with your tongue. During the day, I paint: oils, watercolors, sometimes my fingers on damp paper. I love it when the paint runs like beads of sweat, leaving marks that can't be erased.
